About the role

Remote | Volunteer | Part-time | Minimum 15 hours/week ** ABOUT EUSMS** EUSMS gGmbH is a passionate international team of change-makers committed to creating sustainable social and economic impact in Kenya, East Africa and beyond. Our work is built around five core pillars: Entrepreneurship, Stoicism, Mindfulness, Universal Ethical Principles and Skepticism. Through our Entrepreneurship Program, we support entrepreneurs in developing and scaling their ventures, creating jobs and contributing to economic growth. Our broader mission encompasses social entrepreneurship, development aid, equal rights, education, environmental protection and support for people in need. Tasks Working directly with the Global Director, you will learn the complete EUSMS Entrepreneurship Program and progressively take ownership of its day-to-day operations. As you demonstrate your capabilities, you will work increasingly independently — coordinating activities, making operational decisions within agreed boundaries, thinking ahead and turning priorities into completed results. Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the EUSMS Entrepreneurship Program, from outreach and onboarding through training, mentoring, monitoring and follow-up. Turn priorities and decisions into clear actions, timelines and completed results, while keeping program documentation and trackers up to date. Coordinate volunteers, mentors and other contributors, clarify expectations and follow up on agreed tasks and deadlines. Communicate professionally with entrepreneurs, applicants, partners and other stakeholders and support meetings, workshops and program activities. Monitor participant progress, deadlines and operational issues, ensuring that deliverables are complete and meet expected quality standards. Identify upcoming needs, gaps and risks early, propose practical solutions and escalate matters requiring the Director's decision. Continuously improve processes, templates and ways of working while progressively taking greater ownership of the program's operations. As you develop in the role, the objective is to reduce dependence on the Global Director and progressively assume greater operational ownership of the program , including the ability to oversee its ongoing activities during the Director's absence after sufficient training and demonstrated performance. Requirements We are not selecting on job titles, seniority or formal qualifications alone. We are looking for evidence that you can take ownership, work reliably with others and turn plans into results. Relevant experience in program or project coordination, entrepreneurship support, NGOs, education, community development or team coordination . Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several activities, deadlines and stakeholders without losing sight of important details. A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset — you work independently, follow through and do not wait to be reminded repeatedly. The ability to coordinate and motivate people , set clear expectations and follow up respectfully but persistently. Clear and professional written and spoken English and the ability to communicate effectively across different cultures and stakeholder groups. Sound judgement and problem-solving skills — you anticipate issues, propose practical solutions and know when something needs to be escalated. An interest in entrepreneurship and social impact , combined with the willingness to learn the complete EUSMS Entrepreneurship Program and progressively assume greater operational responsibility. Reliability and the ability to commit at least 15 hours per week in a remote working environment. Experience with early-stage entrepreneurs, international teams or social-impact initiatives is an advantage, but demonstrated capability, commitment and willingness to learn are more important than a particular professional background. Benefits This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful social impact while gaining hands-on exper
