This is a remote position. McBride Consulting is supporting the New York State Department of Labor (NYS DOL) Unemployment Insurance Call Center Salesforce instance. The QA Tester will ensure high-quality releases, verifying that call center agent workflows, case management features, and system integrations operate smoothly without disrupting live operations. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Develop detailed SIT scenarios, test conditions, and execution scripts aligned with user stories and call center requirements. Co-create comprehensive E2E test scenarios in collaboration with functional leads and business analysts. Execute test scripts covering Salesforce functional, integration, and user-interface steps. Manage and log all test cases, execution results, and defect tracking directly within Copado . Document and re-test defect fixes in close coordination with the development team prior to release deployments. Provide clear test execution summary results and coverage metrics to support deployment readiness. Requirements Experience: Minimum of 1 year of dedicated QA/testing experience on IT consulting projects, with direct experience testing Salesforce applications. Testing Expertise: Proven track record of creating, managing, and executing System Integration Testing (SIT) and End-to-End (E2E) testing scenarios. Domain Context: Familiarity with Service Cloud concepts (Case management, call center/telephony integration, agent UI) is strongly preferred. Process & Tooling: Hands-on experience using Copado to track, document, and execute test artifacts (test scripts, test suites, and result logs) embedded within the Salesforce deployment lifecycle.
