About the role

CCBill is an online payment services provider used by more than 30,000 websites globally that supports the needs of both new and established businesses in the ecommerce and online space. As a Risk Analyst you will monitor and analyse merchants, affiliate, and transaction activities to identify, investigate, and prevent fraudulent behaviour. Working with large datasets and risk-monitoring tools, you will uncover emerging fraud trends, deliver valuable insights, and help protect the platform from financial losses, regulatory risks, and chargebacks. As part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will conduct detailed merchant reviews, oversee high-risk business sectors, and collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen fraud controls across the network. Location: Ireland Working Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours); flexible hours on a fully remote basis Key Job Requirements: Monitor transaction activity and fraud alerts to identify suspicious behaviour, emerging threats, and potential financial risks across our payment network. Analyse risk data and reporting trends to uncover anomalies, generate insights, and support effective fraud prevention strategies. Conduct ongoing reviews of high-risk merchant portfolios, monitoring performance indicators and chargeback activity. Assess and manage merchant processing permissions across different regions, ensuring alignment with risk and compliance requirements. Investigate customer complaints, regulatory notifications, and merchant-related risk concerns to support informed decision-making. Manage card scheme fraud notifications, including Visa and Mastercard reports, ensuring timely and accurate case handling. Collaborate closely with internal teams and operational partners to strengthen fraud controls and improve risk management processes. Stay up to date with industry regulations, card scheme requirements, and internal policies to support a strong compliance culture. Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (Level 8 on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications - NFQ) A minimum of 1 years’ experience within a regulated payment services/international fintech/high growth business. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and potential risks. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and lookup functions, with strong proficiency in the Microsoft 365 suite. Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written. Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
