What you will do: Toggling multiple systems & applications Remote patient registration Census Reconciliation- Hospital vs. Patient registration data Patient Identification/Demographic updates Insurance verification, mapping correct plan codes to insurance types Hold codes- Identify and Hold encounters pending follow up Resolving Unbilled encounters Electronic communications- Provider, Medical Record request Attend team daily huddles; to received and provide process report performance outcomes Performance/Productivity- Daily/Weekly huddles MS Teams What you will need : High School Diploma/GED or 3 years of relevant equivalent in lieu of diploma/GED 0-2+ years relevant experience in healthcare with knowledge of billing and collections, medical insurance claims procedures and documentation, patient care charts and histories, patient registration procedures and documentation.
